Being a writer and stay-at-home mom gives Debi Walstad the opportunity to continue learning from things she researches and writes. Although Debi has a background in Education, Child and Family Studies, she has always enjoyed writing. She would always say she'd rather write a 5 page paper than take an exam.
Her true passion for writing was enhanced in March 2010 when she started writing professionally. Before then she hadn't realized that several websites hire contributing writers. Since she has enjoyed contributing to several websites and likes the diversity of different topics.
Debi enjoys staying up on the latest topics of discussion and sharing her expertise. Topics of most interest to her are family and parenting, education, health and fitness, media and social networking and home business management.
